Melissa then grows to respect Kyle, especially after he does things like sewing her doll, freeing her from a dark locked room, and lending an ear to her family issues. However, later on, she admits to being a "brat" and says she doesn't want to act that way any longer. Due to her confusion and often being ignored by her father, Melissa gets in trouble very easily, sometimes while trying to find ways to entertain herself.ĭuring the first part of the game, she is shown to be a bit argumentative and speaks negatively about her father, saying she hates him and he tells lies. She also got very sad and down while dealing in the search of her mom. After the disappearance of her mother, Melissa blamed herself since the last time she talked with her and she was mad at her. Melissa loved both her parents and she hated see them fight every time. Unknown to Iris, Melissa is actually her half-niece.Ī lot of Melissa's negative personality is the result of the trauma of her mother walking out of her life, and her father's struggles with being a single father. Iris later calls Melissa a "little hellion". Apparently, she doesn't feel safe with adults or doesn't have a good image of them, since she also acted similarly with Iris when she threw her doll at Iris when she asked who made it, causing Iris to be shocked at how rude she was treated by Melissa. However, she gets very annoyed easily, and has a bad attitude towards Kyle Hyde at the beginning, with him even calling her "rude as hell". ![]() Melissa is childish, cheerful and playful. I guess it doesn't matter. night, the worst side of humanity has license to roam. And what about the Kyle Hyde that paid Mila a visit? Was that you, Bradley? What kind of shady dealings were they up to? Evans and Mila. I thought you didn't think of that since you didn't mention it in the actual chapter. When I saw them all together like that, I figured it out. The newspaper article about Osterzone's paintings was on top of the desk. The old brochure was on top of the desk, not in it. Dunning wasn't in his room, but I tossed the place anyway. Then Rosa showed and told me that Dunning had taken off with Mila. She went to Robbins Memorial Hospital in Santa Monica. Nile was the name of the criminal organization that Bradley infiltrated. Red Crown is the name of the company I work for. Kevin told me he knew her from his time at the hospital where she stayed. Guess the shock of seeing Jenny get abducted put Mila in a coma.Īnd she was in that coma for a long time. She made friends with a girl named Jenny. Mila was nine years old when she came here with her old man. Like that she had been to this dump before with her father. I grilled her for a bit and learned a few things. When she came to, Mila was able to start talkin'. Her breathing had stopped, so I had to give her mouth-to-mouth. That wasn't the name the letters spelled out. ![]() When I finished, they spelled out the name. Had to mix 'em up so they matched the number of apples in the paintings. Then I rearranged the letters that I found in each of the paintings. I had Rosa open Room 111 so I could look at the final painting. The last second-floor apple painting was in Room 217. You know, good thing we got Room 215 since if someone else, like Helen for example, got that room, the apple hunt would be much harder. There's no apple painting in the utility closet. I found one of the second-floor paintings in the hallway. Two on the first floor, and three on the second. Part 109: Chapter 9 Quiz Music: Play It Again
